One element I liked about the film is that even for those who haven't seen the first and second movie, the plot still made for a good movie in general. Those who are new to the Twilight movies wouldn't be lost in the third sequel. The film starts off with Bella and Edward in a field of flowers, looking in each other eyes, being in love.
I won't give away the plot, but I will state that the film unrolls into a series of exciting events that may keep one at the edge of their seat, especially when it comes to the seemingly never-ending love triangle among Bella, Edward and Jacob. By the way, I know that Jacob has nice abs, but after seeing this movie I would label myself as "Team Edward" if I had to pick one. This movie really has a way of drawing the audience in; each moment is full of anticipation.
If I had to describe this new Twilight film in one word, it would 'captivating'. Although I didn't care much about Twilight before, I found myself wishing it was a TV series instead of a movie so I could watch it all the time! I was very disappointed when the movie ended and kind of forgot that an ending was even going to occur. I was so enthralled in all that was happening between Edward and Bella that I had stepped out of reality.
For those guys out there, don't think this is just a chick flick. There is a decent bit of war and violence that I know my husband would have appreciated. This movie portrays many different aspects like love, passion, heartache, drama, betrayal and violence. I believe a large variety of people could relate to this film. If you're looking for a great movie to go see I would definitely recommend this one.
