Terry's at Cash Point, a bar and grill located well off the beaten path on the Bossier City and Benton line, offers cheap, stiff drinks, good food and an overall unique experience.
Terry's neon sign burns bright in a black abyss on the side of Benton Road. It's located at the end of a well-worn side road on the Red River, but once you go over the last ridge, the beating ends and the good time begins.
The biker-friendly bar is an interesting mix of full-on restaurant, pool hall, bar and juke-joint. Terry's offers a full menu including steaks, burgers, seafood and boiled crawfish, all of which are surprisingly good for a place that looks like it was thrown together by the Hells Angels.
The front area is littered with tables, a dance floor and a stage where live musical acts take place on the weekends and karaoke during the week. The back room contains a few pool tables and several booths for eating, and the back porch, which offers a beautiful view of the Red River, provides a smoking area and a more private, quiet dining area.
The fact that Terry's is a biker-friendly bar does not make it a dangerous place. Everyone at Terry's is friendly and looking for a good time, not a bar room brawl.
If you are in the mood for a different experience than the bars downtown, Terry's is the place to go. The best little juke-joint in town offers nightly drink and shot specials, live music and karaoke and some of the best food around. Terry's is big enough for everyone, but small enough to feel like you are right where you belong.
