With the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency, the American people have a few problems they need to address. The most pressing of these issues is the mass media.

The American media was once described as the fourth branch of the government: an entity that would let all of the American people know what the government was doing. They are supposed to be "fair and balanced," on our side. The American media, however, has dropped the ball.

The media fed the American people half-truths about Obama, at best. They showed their bias, and they tilted their coverage. We were not told the William Ayers story by the mass media, and they were not the ones who first told us about Obama's radical views on infanticide.

Why? The media wet themselves over the thought of this na've, radical man taking over the country.

The American media is no longer on your side, nor can they be trusted. Do not believe that one source is giving you the whole story, because they aren't. They are looking out for one thing, and that is the radical left. No longer do they practice getting you information, so you can decide. Instead, the media decides for you, America.

Oh, John! How wrong you are. :) If anything, the American media has risen its standards consistently over the past two to three hundred years. If you want to look for media bias and blindness, look back to the post-revolution era, and even into the 1800s. (Continued…)

Thanks!

Absolutely correct, John! The media is very biased, regardless of their claims to be otherwise. Thank you for taking a stand and saying what needs to be said!

Unfortunately, John Kay's opinion piece substitutes right wing extremist allegations and vague accusations in place of evidence and facts.

Personally I heard more negitive news/media reports about Obama than I heard positive.

Actually, John's claim can be backed up! I did an entire paper on the Media Bias in the election. I posted it on my blog check the facts for yourself. (Continued…)

your blog is packed with the same right wing propaganda as John Kay's opinion piece, and you offer it as evidence that the media slants left? LOL

The TV companies are in business to make money, not be fair and balanced. I heard that there is free news that is more fair and balanced.
