For the first time in my college career, I actually feel like I'm in college yet, I'm scheduled to graduate this May. The three and a half years I've been in college have been years of change, growth, insecurity and trial and error. I've developed great friendships, but have also disappointed some people along the way.
As of the moment you read this, nothing grinds my gears quite like that of those super bright, overwhelming, blinding headlights installed on pretty much every new car I ever come in contact with. Being economically and fuel efficient, I drive a 2007 Honda Fit.
In today's society, nothing is more important than social status. The corporations, companies and conglomerates of the world are willing to do anything within their power to convince us to purchase things that we do not need, want and often cannot afford.
In my fifth and last year of college at LSUS, I can truly say that I have been here long enough to learn the ins and outs not only LSUS, but college life in general. It seems like just yesterday I was transferring here from Xavier University in Fall 2005. Where I am now is a big step forward from where I was then.
